*REPORT OF THE EMERGENCY CONGRESS HELD ON*

5th April,2025. Venue: Bode Amoo Hall, CCII Building, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan The meeting commenced with a motion raised to officially start the session. A representative from the University of Ilorin led the opening prayer, after which all attendees took turns to introduce themselves. Following the introductions, the Congress proceeded to address the reinstatement of the *FIBSU National Vice President I,* who had been under suspension for a period of nine (9) months. *The Speaker of the Parliament was present and, in agreement with the Congress,* formally accepted and approved her reinstatement back into office. *Aare Alao,* a respected FIBSU National Stakeholder present at the Congress, took the floor and shared his autobiography. DISCLAIMER ON THE UNCONSTITUTIONAL NULLIFICATION OF THE ELECTORAL COMMITTEE

The attention of the National Parliament and the entire FIBSU community has been drawn to a press release issued by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Umar Faruq, seeking to nullify the Electoral Committee duly constituted and inaugurated by the National Congress on April 5th, 2025, at Ibadan House. We wish to categorically state that the Congress which held on the said date was validly convened and had in attendance over 75 Congressmen and Congresswomen, including 24 Chapter Presidents, Principal Officers of the National Parliament, National Executives, the FIBSU Alumni secretary and a past National President representing the stakeholders. The committee in question was constituted through a transparent nomination process in full alignment with the FIBSU National Constitution.
